The Objective

The programme is designed to benefit individual, organizations and the entire society in Africa. Entrepreneurial activities are highly promoted the world over.

In every society the need for new business cannot be overemphasized.

Existing organizations also require creative ideas and innovations that would make them exploit and develop new business approaches, as well as expansion, diversification and enhancement of competitive position.

All these are career opportunities for students in this program.

The evening Master in Entrepreneurship programme is specifically designed for managers from public, private sectors, NGO’s and civil society. Such executives will have full time job responsibilities and cannot afford to attend an advanced management education on full time basis.

The Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship (ME) is distinctively designed to stimulate the development of an entrepreneurial mind-set and aims at providing students with tools necessary to start new independent businesses in addition to providing advisory services to new venture start- ups.

It will also give real life learning experience in research, venture creation, commercialization as well as tools to proactively work in new as well as already established business.

The Candidate must submit a completed application form together with the following:

  • Current curriculum Vitae
  • Certified copy of official academic documents including official academic transcript, degree certificate and other key relevant documentation
  • Copies of O’ and A’ level certificates
  • At least one letter of recommendation from a person who is in a position to judge the candidate’s ability
  • Passport-size photo
  • A non-refundable processing fee of US $ 30

Candidates eligible for master’s programmes must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
  • International recognized full professional qualification. Candidates must have passed ALL qualifying examinations
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English
  • At least two years of work experience
