Certified Consultant Programme (CCP)
Statement of Need
Consultants work as professional advisors to Governments, businesses in the private sector, development partners, and even not-for-profit organisations. They navigate through the most complex challenges organisations and countries face.
Their advice has short-, medium- to long-term implications for nations and institutions across all sectors of the economy. Trillions of dollars are paid to consultants around the world. The quality of advice they provide must therefore meet the analytical threshold, professional standards and foresight consistent with the consulting body of knowledge.
In response to this need, ESAMI Global Consulting is pleased to invite applications for the Certified Consultant Programme (CCP).
Program Overview
The Certified Consultant Programme (CCP) is a 16-week hybrid professional certification designed to equip both fresh entrants and practising professionals with the methodology, tools, ethics, and business acumen required to plan, initiate, execute and close consulting assignments to international standards.
The programme blends global consulting best practice with practical application across public-sector, private-sector, and donor-funded engagements, equipping consultants to deliver to international standards in any market or sector.

Frequently Asked Questions
A 16-week certification programme prepares you to practice as a professional management consultant. It comprises five taught modules, a live-client capstone, an immersion experience, and a final exam and viva (≈240 hours), leading to the ESAMI Certified Consultant (ECC) credential and post-nominals. The programme is benchmarked against the highest global consulting standards.
The CCP programme converts your experience into an internationally recognised credential (ECC), instilling confidence among your clients that you can deliver consulting assignments based on best-in-class practice. The ECC strengthens your credibility, consortium member consideration, win rate, and day rate. It generates more business for you, provides a platform to partner with other ECC members, influence government and corporate policies, and contribute to your clients’ success. The programme equips you with a complete consulting toolkit — from bid writing and the assignment lifecycle to client management, pricing, and quality assurance — plus a real client project reference for your portfolio.
Certification formalises and independently benchmarks your practice against the global ICMCI standard, closes common gaps (bid economics, contracting, quality assurance, consulting ethics), and gives you a credential that procurement panels recognise — positioning you for Team Leader and Engagement Partner roles. For those managing consultancy firms, the programme equips you with strategies to grow your business in quantum.
For the first cohort (August–September 2026 Cohort), a 20% discount will be offered. Each cohort is capped at 35 delegates. The first 35 members to complete payment qualify for the discount. Other discounts will be determined on a year-to-year basis.
Fees earned from other ESAMI work may be used to offset the CCP Fee. In such cases, an agreement will be signed between you and ESAMI. ESAMI Global Consulting Academy may require additional information to assess each applicant’s request to offset payment against work performed for ESAMI.
A credential must be credible. The consulting process includes an immersive experience, an exam, and a viva to confirm that you can apply what you have learned to real client work, not just attend classes. The reputation attached to ECC is a seal of confidence for our client, a stamp of authority reflecting the global reputation ESAMI has earned, and confirmation that clients can trust your advice. Earning the ECC credentials sets you apart from other consultants.
Yes. There is an exam fee of US$200. The exam is set by a distinguished global faculty.
Yes. A flexible payment option is available. The initial payment is US$2,000. The balance can be paid in six monthly instalments of US$1,000.
No — the ECC is awarded for the full programme. The five modules, the immersion experience, the capstone, and the exam/viva form one integrated pathway, so modules taken in isolation do not lead to certification. Each module earns the participant credits toward the final certification and CPD for those in professional associations.
