Prof Dr.Dr. Lucky Yona, PhD, DBA, is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of finance and accounting. He currently holds the position of Director of Research, Grants and Partnership at the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI), where he leverages his vast experience to promote research, foster collaborations, and secure funding opportunities. He holds a doctorate degree in finance (PHD) and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Masters of Business Administration (MBA), a CPA holder, credentials that affirm his deep knowledge in business management and finance. As a professor of finance and accounting, he is esteemed for his ability to distill complex financial concepts into understandable lessons for both novice and advanced students.

 

His extensive contributions to the academic community include authoring ten books and publishing numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals. These works reflect his profound understanding of finance and accounting, alongside his ability to conduct rigorous research. His breadth of knowledge is widely recognized within his industry, leading him to be sought after as a consultant and international trainer. Before joining ESAMI, he built a rich and diverse career working with various international organizations, always striving for excellence and contributing to the development and success of these institutions.
