Ernest L. Molua

Ernest L. Molua is a Professor of Agricultural Economics in the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, University of Buea, Cameroon. He is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in-charge of Research, Cooperation and Relations with the Business World of the University of Bamenda, Cameroon.

Prior to this position, he was the Registrar and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine of the University of Buea, Cameroon, as well as the Director for Infrastructure, Planning and Development of the University of Douala, Cameroon. He obtained academic degrees from the Georg-August University, Goettingen, Germany and the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen, Denmark.

A Fulbright Research Fellow at Yale University, USA, he also serves as a Visiting Professor to the United Nations Institute for Economic Development and Planning, Dakar, Senegal and the United Nations University for Peace, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has also served as a consultant to the Mathematica Policy Research Corporation, Washington DC, USA; the World Bank, Washington DC, USA and the United Nations Development Programme, New York, USA.

Prof. Molua is currently a research affiliate to the Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy in Africa (CEEPA), Pretoria, South Africa. He is a member of the International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE), the African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE), the Royal Economic Society (RES) of the United Kingdom, as well as President of the Cameroon Association of Agricultural Economists (CAAE).

He is an academy member of the Black Economist Network, UK and the Liechtenstein Institute, Bendern, Liechtenstein.
