Professor Joseph Mumba is a Chief Consultant in management with 27 years consulting and capacity building experience in the following areas: project management; project design and implementation; project design using the Logical Framework Approach; project feasibility studies; project appraisal; project appraisal of donor funded projects; donor-funded project management; project monitoring and evaluation; results-based monitoring of projects; developing disbursement-linked monitoring and evaluation (DLM&E) systems; public-private-partnership (PPP) project design and implementation; project risk management; institutional assessment; quality management systems design, implementation and audit; environmental impact assessment; quality assurance and control; strategic environmental assessment; corporate environmental management; environmental auditing; environmental negotiation; energy planning and management; energy auditing; quality management systems design, implementation and audit; climate change management; corporate governance and board competency. He has taught in doctoral and masters academic programs for the past 30 years, teaching courses such as research methods, quantitative methods, business statistics, project management, and environmental management.
