Dr Anthony Phiri

Bio

Dr Phiri is an accomplished environmental engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the academic field. He has vast experience in environmental of impact assessment and project management predominantly in waste management, renewable energy and infrastructure development. Dr. Phiri has examined and supervised several doctors and masters’ students. Currently Dr. Phiri is a lecturer and Centre of Excellence Director at the Harare institute of Technology. Has has been a core member of Southern Africa Regional Universities Association(SARAU) on development of a masters’ degree in Climate Change and sustainable development. He has been member of Zimbabwe delegation to the Climate change conference of parties as a negotiator. Dr Phiri brings critical capacity to the organization in terms of cross cutting issues especially in relation to
engineering and value chain.
