The Role of Legislatures in Audit Committees

Statement of Need

This course is designed for members of parliamentary audit committees  and other professionals who are responsible for ensuring the integrity of  government financial information. The course will cover key concepts  and strategies for effective auditing, including financial statement audits,  performance audits, and compliance audits. It will also examine the  role of internal controls and risk management in ensuring the integrity  of government financial information. The course will be taught by  experienced auditing professionals and will include real-world examples  and case studies to illustrate key concepts and strategies.
