Statement of Need

Strategic management accounting has an interdisciplinary role with a crucial contribution to strategic planning and management. It highlights the link between strategy and resource management focusing on the effective use of an organization’s financial and other resources in creating value for clients. Participants will develop the tools and techniques and improve their ability for effective evaluation, assessment and interpretation of management accounting information. The programme on Strategic Management Accounting equips participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively apply management accounting techniques in strategic decision-making processes.
