Review of Internatinal Financial Reporting Standards/ International Public Sector Accounting Standards(IFRS/IPSAS): Update and Implications
There is an increasing global acceptance and transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the use of IFRSs as a basis for the preparation of financial statements. IFRS/IPSAS are updated regularly to ensure relevance to the dynamic operating environment and changes in stakeholders’ demands. This creates a need for professional accountants to attend on regular basis the training programmes to remain up to date with changes in standards.
