Statement of Need

Good governance, ethics, accountability and transparency are  fundamental principles of democratic societies and play a critical role in  the functioning of legislative bodies. As a parliamentarian, it is important  to have a deep understanding of these principles, their implications  and how to apply them in practice. A course on governance, ethics,  accountability and transparency can help parliamentarians develop the  skills and knowledge needed to effectively govern and represent their  constituents.
