ESAMI hosts the HR Forum for Kenya – 2024
December 2, 2024This week, ESAMI headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania, is hosting the HR Forum for Kenya- 2024 under the theme “Rising to the Challenge: Shaping the Future of HR Together.“
The forum brings together 20 HR practitioners, directors, deputy directors, and senior government officials from various ministries, departments, and agencies across Kenya.
This gathering is a significant step toward advancing the HR profession and enhancing its role in national and regional development.
The forum features a knowledge-packed agenda addressing critical and emerging issues facing HR professionals in an ever-evolving workplace landscape.
Participants are engaged in interactive discussions and sharing experiences to address their respective institutions and sectors’ unique HR challenges.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, the Acting Director General of ESAMI, Dr. Peter Kiuluku, emphasized the importance of capacity building in HR to drive transformation across organizations and governments.
The Kenyan delegation is mainly focusing on translating insights from the forum into actionable strategies to improve public sector HR practices.
This aligns with Kenya’s broader goal of enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency in the public sector.
