Employee Health And Wellness

Start: Jul 6, 2026
End: Jul 17, 2026
Venue: Mombasa, Kenya
Format: Two weeks
Duration: 2 weeks
Statement of Need

Extensive studies have shown that a corporate health and wellness programme yields significant returns including enhanced recruitment and retention of healthy employees, fewer absenteeism, improved job performance and hence productivity and improved employee relations and morale. It is, therefore, inevitable that organizations focus on designing and implementing health and wellness programmes.

Every year businesses lose billions of dollars due to health issues experienced by members of their workforce or their family members. These financial losses can be attributed to absenteeism, a decrease in productivity, and medical claims. In addition, there are considerable reputational repercussions due to high employee turnover, job dissatisfaction, and poor morale. Identifying workers at all levels of an organization with  health issues and securing assistance for them is essential. This programme will go a long way in bridging the gap in this area.
