COURSE OVERVIEW Effective environmental negotiation requires effective communication and trust building. Thus, time is spent on tools to improve communication and build relationships. This course emphasizes the use of interest-based negotiation approaches to build trust, persuade, and create lasting solutions. Participants will learn to recognize commonly encountered unethical tactics and shown productive responses. Examples of both successful and unsuccessful negotiations will be examined.
